The peak of the Black Tusk is in the clouds behind.

Up here it was difficult to find the trails because they were all covered up. We were going by flags and a few foot prints.

Garibaldi Lake still looked a little cold.

On the way back down, after we passed the lake, we came to The Barrier wall, a massive unstable rock formation created during a volcanic eruption about 12 thousand years ago. We stopped there for a break and were immediately accosted by some very brazen chipmunks and whiskey jacks.

This may be the best picture I've ever taken.

We made it!
The one of Alex on the boardwalk is pretty epic.
ReplyDeleteAlso, do you remember how we lost Alex at the lunch break and had to go find him? Now that we know he was safe, it was pretty funny.
Haha, yes. At the time that was kinda scary.
