Vater Rhine

The big bridge over the Rhine that we crossed every time we went to Cologne is home to a curious tradition. For decades, couples have written their names on locks and attached them to the fence and tossed the key in the river. We did our part one evening.

If you're ever crossing the Rhine on the big rail bridge, you can find our lock in the middle nearby some lovely anti fascism graffiti.
