More Ducks

The other day Mary met me after school so we could have a walk around the UQ lakes and spot ducklings. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the ducklings I pictured previously, but we did find a bunch of little purple swamphens. I was getting pretty close to take pictures of these guys and one of the swamphen parents was not impressed. (S)he kept rushing at me with wings outstretched, trying to chase me off. I stayed put at great personal risk to bring these photos to you.
