More Lizards

I've seen some pretty cool lizards while I've been down here. Here are some more. These ones are all bigger than the ones I've posted before.

I saw this guy by the road in the morning a couple weeks ago. I think it's a bigger version of the bearded dragon that the little girl had in the market the other day, but I could easily be wrong. This guy was about 75cm long.

This guy was in James and Jackie's garden. He's a Eastern Blue Tongued Skink

An Australian Water Dragon that was down by the ferris wheel at Southbank. He was about a meter long from tip to tail.

A smaller version of the above, also down at Southbank. This guy was more like 35cm long.

My favourite thing about all these species is watching them move. When you see them walk around and watch the way their hips rotate you can't help but think you're looking at a direct descendant of the dinosaurs.
